Shaaray Tefila is excited to be a part of Every Voice, Every Vote – the Reform Movement’s Civic Engagement Campaign. This nonpartisan effort aims to strengthen our democracy by encouraging everyone to participate in the U.S. election process and ensuring that Reform Jewish values are represented in the public square.
We are so proud that our Shaaray Tefila Civic Engagement Team sent over 10,000 postcards to voters in Texas, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, and Florida ahead of their state primary elections!

Postcard Writers on our Every Voice, Every Vote Civic Engagement Campaign: We are ready to start our next postcard campaign to GOTV for the upcoming November 8 General Election. Once again, we will be working with the Center for Common Ground to engage underrepresented and infrequent voters of color (many of whom live in rural communities that get minimal outreach).

There are THREE WAYS you can join our Shaaray Tefila Civic Engagement Campaign:
1. Pick-up a packet of 30 postcards (including addresses, labels, and script) at the Onegs following Erev Shabbat Services during the month of September after Labor Day.
2. Join us for a postcard writing event on Sunday, October 16 at Temple Shaaray Tefila from 12:00-2:00pm. All postcarding supplies will be provided.
3. Email Carol Crossen to arrange for a drop-off or pick-up of a postcard packet.
