Important Message to our Parenting Program Families
After much thought and deliberation, we have decided that our Parenting Program will be taking a pause on in-person programming for the fall semester. While we are eagerly planning for an in-person Nursery School opening in September, this program presents unique challenges that are not in alignment with CDC guidelines for safe gatherings. Simply put, to open at this stage would create unnecessary risk to both our participants and our staff at this time. Throughout the fall we will continue to reevaluate this decision with the hopes of relaunching in January. In the meantime the Parenting Program staff will be meeting to discuss options for virtual programs. If you would be interested in virtual programs please let me know. It continues to be our goal to provide excellent educational programming and support to the parents of our youngest members and their children. We look forward to when we can be together in person again, and in creating new and innovative ways to stay connected until that time comes. Please reach out to Sue Yulis (firstname.lastname@example.org) with any questions, concerns, or ideas that you would like to share.
What We Offer
We offer classes for families and their children from birth to 18 months as well as parent workshops throughout the year. Each class is facilitated by an early childhood professional and is structured to highlight child development, explore the joys and challenges of parenting, and foster a sense of community. Jewish traditions and values are woven into each class.
Priority for admission is given to:
- Children and families currently enrolled in the Parenting Program.
- Temple members (within this group, priority is given according to the length of your membership).
- Non-members through a random selection.
