Open to members & non-members

Anne Nelson, author of Shadow Network: Media, Money, and the Secret Hub of the Radical Right, will discuss the threat Christian Nationalism poses to our democracy. She traces how money has flowed into government, political campaigns, and organizations to support a Christian fundamentalist agenda concerned with social issues such as opposition to abortion and rights for LGBT people, fomenting cultural divisions. Nelson’s book is the basis for a new documentary, Bad Faith: Christian Nationalism’s Unholy War on Democracy.
