Join us for A Day of Education, Service, and Mobilization to support New York City’s migrants.
SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES
12:30-1:30pm: Hear from Ruth Messinger, Global Ambassador for American Jewish World Service, Congressman Dan Goldman (invited), State Senator Brad Hoylman-Sigal, and Activist Power Malu about the current situation confronting asylum seekers in NYC
1:45-3:45pm: Sort donated clothing, pack shelf-stable food, make bagged lunches, and engage in other direct service and advocacy activities
2:30pm: Introductory training to help migrants obtain work permits led by Ark Immigration Clinic, CBST
Followed by our Interfaith Thanksgiving Service at 4:00pm.
