Amy Schwach is thrilled to be working at Temple Shaaray Tefila. She comes to us from North Shore Synagogue in Syosset, NY, where she has been Executive Director for five years. Prior to North Shore, she worked at Central Synagogue in Manhattan for 11 years in numerous roles, most recently as Assistant Director. Amy is completing her certification as a Fellow in Temple Administration from NATA, the National Association for Temple Administration and was part of the second cohort of UJA’s Jewish Greening Fellowship.

She is currently a senior member of NATA, Co-President of Metro-ASE, the Metropolitan Association of Synagogue Executives and holds a Master’s Degree from Baruch College in Public Administration.

Amy, her husband Miguel, and dog Petey have lived in Manhattan since joining our community.
