Shaaray Tefila is excited to be a part of Every Voice, Every Vote – the Reform Movement’s 2020 Civic Engagement Campaign. This nonpartisan effort aims to strengthen our democracy by encouraging everyone to participate in the U.S. election and ensuring that Reform Jewish values are represented in the public square. We’ve set an ambitious goal for our community to write, call, or text at least 10,000 eligible voters to remind them to check their registration status, register to vote, or pledge to vote.

Track our progress below as we work toward our goal!

GOAL: Contact 10,000 Eligible Voters

1,000 eligible voters contacted so far!

I want to help! How can I participate?

Join us for any or all of our twice weekly Zoom meetings to fight voter suppression with the RAC’s partner, the Center for Common Ground, and their nonpartisan Reclaim Our Vote (ROV) campaign. Together we’ll write postcards, have a nosh or a drink, chat about current events, electoral issues, or anything under the sun (all on a nonpartisan basis), and generally have fun. All are welcome – feel free to bring your friends and family. Each session is scheduled for two hours, and you can drop in at any time.

We hope to devote some future sessions to learning how to phone bank or text bank together, and as the fall approaches, we’ll be talking about ways to get out the vote closer to home too.

Zoom Session Schedule
Mondays @10:00am • 8/3, 8/10, 8/17
Wednesdays @7:00pm • 7/29, 8/5, 8/12
