What are Affinity Groups?
Affinity groups create social and cultural opportunities to deepen your connection to Judaism while building relationships with fellow congregants who are in a similar place in their lives.
Which Affinity Groups are right for you? Learn more below and choose your Affinity Groups to opt-in to receiving email notifications about upcoming events and opportunities. Don’t worry! We won’t inundate your inbox with emails and your email address will be added to a staff-monitored listserv and will not be shared with other congregants or organizations.
Please Note: Chevrah does not appear on the form linked above as parents are notified of events through Religious School communications to which they are automatically subscribed after enrolling their child(ren).
About our Affinity Groups
The Shaaray Tefila Social Club
Members age 50-65 AND/OR with children age 17-30
We offer programming for all adult members - regardless of gender, marital status, or family structure - who want to be a part of a vibrant community. Identifying as “free birds,” rather than “empty nesters,” we strive to build connections through fun social events and deepen engagement in Jewish life through thematic learning opportunities geared to the unique aspects of our stage of life.
Members age 65+
SAGE is committed to engaging senior members of Shaaray Tefila in educational, charitable, and social activities. Join us to meet new friends and socialize.
Nashim is the women’s group of Shaaray Tefila. We gather for study, discussion, and community. We offer programs from a Jewish perspective that stimulate the minds and nourish the bodies and souls of our female congregants.
Single members age 45-65
Join us for social events to connect with other boomer-age singles in the Shaaray Tefila community.
Parents of Religious School Students (Grades K-12)
Connect with other Religious School parents at events and activities that allow us to get to know each other in a fun, relaxed atmosphere with a Jewish lens.
