Buildings and Grounds Committee
The Building and Grounds Committee focuses on enhancing the aesthetics of our building and outdoor space, and to make recommendations about small upgrades that will have a big impact as our congregation moves into the future.
Caring Committee
The Caring Committee brings compassionate outreach to our members in times of need as well as moments of joy, offering comfort and connection through acts of loving kindness. We are here with you – through your simchas and your sorrows. Whether welcoming a new addition to your family, mourning a loss, celebrating an engagement or wedding, or navigating a moment of difficulty or change, we are here with you.

Development Committee
The work of Development is to oversee our fundraising efforts that enable our community to be financially successful to ensure that Shaaray Tefila has the financial resources to continue to grow and thrive into the future. These efforts provide the programming, pastoral care, worship, and education that make Shaaray Tefila such a vibrant and thriving community.
Israel Engagement
Shaaray Tefila provides a robust series of programs and Israel initiatives to bring our congregation closer to our second homeland. This includes educational opportunities on both the history and current events that have shaped and continue to shape the country, travel opportunities, advocacy and activism, and an ongoing connection with a sister Reform congregation in Israel.
Membership Committee
Growing Our Community, our membership committee, works to increase membership and revenue, and grow the capacity of our congregational leaders to be ambassadors for Shaaray Tefila. They provide support on how to tap into personal and professional networks, to invite in potential new members, and identify congregant-driven strategies and tactics to recruit in micro-communities.
Nursery School Parents Association
Our Parents Association works tirelessly throughout the year to support the children, teachers, and families through outreach, fundraising, and FUNraising efforts. Book fairs, school picnics, Tot Shabbats, classroom and schoolwide Jewish holiday celebrations, mitzvah projects, and more fill our calendar with opportunities to connect, celebrate, and enhance the early childhood experience, making Shaaray Tefila a second home for our children and their families.
Religious School Engagement Committee
The Religious School Committee is composed of dedicated and passionate parents of children in our Religious School program - grades PreK through 12th grade. The RS Committee are our most dedicated volunteers, and the voice of the entire community.
Worship Committee
The Worship Committee works tirelessly to bring meaningful worship opportunities for our entire congregation. From minor holidays and commemorations to major ones, from weekly Erev Shabbat services to the High Holy Days, the committee continues to enhance the many opportunities to engage with the sacred in our lives.
