Music
Music is a hallmark of our congregation. We invite people of all generations to experience how music can lift your soul, bring spiritual fulfillment, and connect you to Judaism and to each other.

Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel taught, “music is the only language that is compatible with the wonder and mystery of being.”
At Temple Shaaray Tefila, we believe in the power of music to penetrate the soul and to inspire. Whether it is joining together as a community in song during Shabbat and holiday, and family services, our special musical programs and concerts, or participating in one of our volunteer choirs, music is central to our congregation throughout all generations.

Songs for the Soul
In 2018 during his Sabbatical, Cantor Todd Kipnis made a recording focusing on music of healing and inspiration to help inspire people who may be in need of healing of body or soul, as well as provide inspiration to anyone who enjoys Jewish music. These songs are available for download.
