Gift of Light

We are thrilled to announce the return of Gift of Light!

Spread holiday joy and warmth this Chanukah by gifting your fellow Shaaray Tefila community members with beautiful candles and holiday wishes. Last year, thanks to your generosity, we shared over 475 boxes of Chanukah candles and raised over $20,000 to support the temple! We can do even more this year! All proceeds (after expenses) will go directly to support Temple Shaaray Tefila programs and activities.

Let's make this year's Festival of Lights a memorable one for our Shaaray Tefila community!

Here is how it works:

• For your personalized LOGIN link, please refer to the email sent from "sentvia@comsend.com" on November 17.

• The first box and message you send is $18.

• Each additional box and message is $10.

• Each recipient will receive only one box of candles with personalized greetings from each of their senders.

• For an additional $36, choose "Reciprocity" to automatically send candles to anyone who sends them to you.

• Celebrate our 180th Anniversary with a gift of $10 by adding "Temple Shaaray Tefila's 180th Anniversary " as a recipient.

Important Dates 

• Wednesday, Dec 3, 4:00pm: Last chance to order candles.

• Thursday, Dec 4: You will receive an email letting you know you have candles to pick up!

• Dec 5 - Dec 19: Pick up your candles at Sharaay Tefila (see details below)

• Sunday, Dec 14: You will receive a notification letting you know who sent you candles, just in time for the first night of Chanukah!

• Friday, Dec 19: Thank your friends in person at our Community Candle Lighting and Shabbat Chanukah service.
