What Does Judaism Say About...?
A Six-Session Curriculum for Modern Reform Jews
As we navigate through the world making decisions every day about how to live as human beings and as Jews, we have all kinds of inputs to look to– our own conscience, friends and family, media and the internet, and more– for inspiration and counsel to help us make decisions.
In these sessions, Rabbi Mosbacher and Rabbi Rubin will share a kind of Jewish legal literature called responsa that can help guide us as we make Jewishly-rooted decisions about ritual practice, business practice, medical decisions and more. We’ll look at Reform responsa on end of life decision making, the relevance of keeping kosher in our times, ethics in the marketplace, and more.
We hope you can join us for all 6 sessions, but you can join us even if you can’t make every one. This class will be held in person only.
