Zaya Yid, Zaya Mensch, Zay Shtark: Meaningful Ways to Live a Jewish Life
The Shaaray Tefila community was blessed beyond words to have Rabbi Jonathan Stein z'l as its leader for 15 years. Our former Associate Rabbi, Rabbi Josh Strom, is honored and privileged to offer a Shavuot learning opportunity in Rabbi Stein's memory, based on the story he would share each spring with that year's Confirmation class.
Through Pirke Avot and other texts, we will explore the wisdom and guidance passed down by our ancestors regarding ways to lead a life that is meaningful, substantive, and uplifting of ourselves and others. Please join us to share in the celebration of Shavuot and the joy of learning. Susan Stein, wife of Rabbi Stein will also be with us.
Register by May 28.
