About Abdul Basir Shakeri
Abdul Basir Shakeri is originally from Kabul, Afghanistan, and now serves as Head of Growth & Catering at Eat Offbeat and manages Atelier Jolie Café in New York City. After leaving Afghanistan in 2021 and arriving in the United States in 2023, he has built a career bringing people together through food. Working alongside chefs from refugee and immigrant backgrounds, Basir helps share their culinary traditions, talents, and stories with communities across the city.
