Loud Letters: Creative Family Workshop

In person only
Members only
Families are invited to explore the expressive world of Hebrew letters through creativity and play. Inspired by contemporary design and the beauty of Hebrew typography, this hands-on workshop invites children and parents to discover how shapes, colors, and contrasts can transform simple letters into works of art.
We will learn from Eli Kaplan Wildmann's pop up exhibit, What Shall Be After, and participants will experiment with visual expression and leave with their own unique design. All families and siblings welcome; main activity is geared for children 5+.
Email Sheridan Gayer at Sgayer@tstnyc.org to sign up for the family workshop.
About the Artist:
Eli Kaplan Wildmann is a creative director, curator and designer, spearheading tactile visual projects for organizations such as PJ Library and OneTable. His “unbound” creations have reached hundreds of thousands of people worldwide, reimagining books as one-on-one theatrical experiences. Exhibits that he curates reference life in Israel and have included Israeli and Palestinian illustrators, designers and artists. Eli comes from the world of the stage as a designer and director. He is constantly inspired by the variety and passion that can be found in Jerusalem, where he lives attempting to turn his son and daughter into musical theater fans and where he leads or has led egalitarian, queer and artistic communities.
