Join us for a special Shabbat service as we celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Plaza Jewish Community Chapel and honor the pioneering work of the Reform chevra kaddisha. For a quarter-century, Plaza has served as New York’s only non-profit, communal funeral chapel, ensuring dignity and "service over profit" for every family. In partnership with the Reform chevra kaddisha—NYC’s first egalitarian "Holy Society"—they have transformed end-of-life care into a modern expression of Chesed Shel Emet (ultimate kindness). Please join the Shaaray Tefila community as we offer our gratitude to the volunteers and leaders who provide comfort, inclusivity, and sacred ritual to our community in its most tender moments.
