Defending Democracy, Protecting Community, and Building Solidarity Against Antisemitism

These are deeply fraught times for Jews in our community, our city and around the world. In response, Temple Shaaray Tefila, in partnership with the Nexus Project, is proud to host a vital and timely program for Jews committed to protecting democratic rights and freedoms while actively combating antisemitism.

Join us on Thursday, September 18 from 7:00 to 8:30pm at Temple Shaaray Tefila, 250 E. 79th Street.

We will hear from a panel of guest speakers who will explore the sources of rising antisemitism, the dangers of communal division and the threats facing our democracy. Attendees will receive tools and resources from The Nexus Project and the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism to help take action, locally and nationally, because defending democracy and fighting antisemitism must go hand in hand.
