Big Tent Shabbat Services

In person & online
Open to members & non-members
Please join us in person and online for Big Tent Erev Shabbat service.
It’s Shabbat Shira, the Sabbath of Song, on which we commemorate when Moses led us in song and Miriam and the Israelite women led us in dancing when we crossed the Red Sea. To open the tent and rejoice like Miriam, we are planning an innovative new Big Tent Format:
We will be having services in the round.
We will have our awesome shabbat band playing from the moment you walk in– come and sing and dance at services!
Everyone will have a chance to bless each other as we create a tent of tallitot (prayer shawls); if you have a special family tallit, please bring it with you.
We will share a new memory ritual as we remember those we love who have died.
Come join us for this special Shabbat service, especially for families!
Big Tent Shabbat is a series of Shabbats designed to bring our entire community together to celebrate the Sabbath and each other throughout the year.Everyone is invited and all are welcome to attend the events that speak to them, as we bring many different generations of Temple Shaaray Tefila’s community together for an evening of meaning, connection and purpose!
