Join us for a special evening inspired by the pop-up exhibition What Shall Be After, a design project that transforms handwritten Hebrew letters into contemporary visual art. Through typography, color, and creative interpretation, the exhibition invites us to reflect on the power of letters. They carry memory, meaning, and connection.
Each year, Israel moves in a single day from the solemnity of Yom Hazikaron (Memorial Day) to the joy of Independence Day, Yom Ha'atzmaut. This striking transition between remembrance and celebration, sorrow and hope, captures something deeply familiar to many of us today: the coexistence of powerful and sometimes contradictory emotions.
This workshop invites our community to step into that space together. Surrounded by the vibrant visual language of the exhibition, we will explore how art, design, and creativity can help us hold complexity while still making room for joy, gratitude, and connection. It will be an evening of conversation, creativity, and community as we reflect on Israel, on this moment, and on the many feelings that live side by side within it. To finish the transition into joy we will celebrate with a few classic Israeli Dances.
