Luncheon with L'dor Vador! A Gratitude Lunch Featuring Manna.
Let's take the high-energy ruach, spirit, of the music we just heard and carry it into our daily lives! Sometimes, gratitude can be a practice that starts with our ears, and follows the road of farmers, pilots, truck drivers, chefs, and shopkeepers that ends with our plates and our happy palates.
Taking inspiration from Earth Day, we are planning to come together not just to eat, but to honor our roles as Shomrei Adamah, Guardians of the Earth. Join Director of Engagement, Sheridan Gayer and Chef-in-Residence, Liz Alpern for a unique experience exploring how the rhythms of Jewish music, our understanding of the edible ecosystem, and the cycles of nature enable us to be more mindful and connected to the world around us.
We'll get our own hands-on experience making Lemonana, a favorite spring-time drink. Feel free to bring a picnic blanket to enhance the atmosphere!
Please Note:
This is NOT a drop-off program. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
To prevent food waste, advance registration is requested by Thursday, April 16.
