Shaaray Tefila is excited to be a part of Every Voice, Every Vote – the Reform Movement’s Civic Engagement Campaign. This nonpartisan effort aims to strengthen our democracy by encouraging everyone to participate in the U.S. election process and ensuring that Reform Jewish values are represented in the public square.

I want to help! How can I participate in this BIG election year?

Postcard writers on our Every Voice Every Vote Civic Engagement Campaign: We continue our GOTV campaign for North Carolina. Once again, we will be working with the Center for Common Ground.

We will write to almost 400,000 Black voters across the state.

Why North Carolina? North Carolina has:

a large Black voting population that provides a strong base, particularly in urban areas;
a top-tier Senate race that is genuinely competitive;
down-ballot races where the margin for impact is high and that matters enormously for redistricting, abortion policy, voting rights, and more - and these are very winnable.

We are holding a postcarding parties to GOTV on:

Friday, September 18 @5:00pm before Erev Shabbat Services

Thursday, October 1 @6:30pm

Sunday, October 4 @11:30am

Friday, October 9 @5:00pm before Erev Shabbat Services

REGISTER HERE to attend one or more postcarding party. All you need to do is register, show up and write, OR pick up your own packet of postcards to write at home. All postcaring supplies will be provided at our party, except for postage.

Gather your friends to postcard together. You provide the space and nosh, the Shaaray Justice Team will provide your postcarding supplies.
