Mayoral Candidate Accountability Action

In person only
Open to members & non-members
New Yorkers Are Demanding Bold Action — Will the Candidates Deliver?
Thousands of New Yorkers have come together with our broad and diverse community organizing network Manhattan Together-Metro IAF to create a bold agenda for real change in our city — tackling the issues we face head-on:
- Expanded access to mental health care
- Action to reduce gun violence
- Safe and dignified NYCHA housing
- Truly affordable housing
- Better quality of life for everyday New Yorkers
- Reliable public transportation
- Opportunities for youth
- High-quality public education
On June 1, we need you in the room. We have committed to turn out 150 members of our synagogue for this 75 minute action. Can you make that amount of time to help hold candidates for mayor accountable?
We’re calling on citywide candidates to publicly commit to specific, concrete solutions — and we won’t stop until they follow through.
Join us at Temple Shaaray Tefila, Manhattan where we will connect electronically with St. Paul’s Community Baptist Church. We will engage with candidates for mayor, asking them questions about how we want to see them engage and act on these issues should they be elected mayor. Light faire will be available after the action.
Doors open at 2:30 pm, with our action starting promptly at 3:00 pm.
This is our moment to shape NYC’s future. Join us and be heard. Ready to show up for our city? Let us know you are coming HERE.
