Sanctuary Stitchers

Sanctuary Stitchers welcome all who love to knit or crochet. We make blankets for ill or traumatized children.

Blankets are distributed through Project Linus, a national non-profit organization founded in 1995.

If you know how to knit or crochet, brilliant! If not, we’ll get you started. We provide the yarn. Please bring your own needles or crochet hooks—preferably size 7 or 8 needles or G or H crochet hooks. We also provide light refreshments--cookies, tea, and coffee.

We meet one Sunday a month from 11:15 am to 1:15 pm at the synagogue.

We’d love to see new faces and new skills join us.  We welcome young and old; women and men; girls and boys.
