Our Choirs

Shaaray Quartet

The music of our liturgy is made all the more beautiful with the voices of our Shaaray Tefila Quartet – a group of four professional singers who have been in service to Shaaray Tefila each for over a decade – some for almost 30 years.

Betsy Watson, soprano; Ory Brown, alto; Rodne Brown, tenor; Mark Rehnstrom, bass.

Members of Kol Rinnah give the gift of song. We love to sing and sing at various services and programs throughout the year, such as our annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Celebration, our special Chanukah service, and our Shabbat service honoring Dr. Martin Luther King.

We are led by Cantor Todd Kipnis and accompanied by Shaaray Tefila's accompanist, Allison Sniffin.

There are no auditions and no previous musical training is required. We gather for the fun of singing, the friendships that the group engenders, and for the rewarding feeling of contributing to the musical and spiritual life of the congregation through our participation.

Not sure if you can join for a whole year? That’s OK. You may join for one service or program or for several. But beware – once you’re enveloped by the joy of singing in a choir, you might never leave!

Please consider adding your voice to the adult chorale of Shaaray Tefila!
