In honor of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Temple Shaaray Tefila’s Sisterhood is hosting the author June Feiss Hersh, in conversation with Rabbi Benjamin Ross and Debra Goldstein, to share stories from her cookbook Recipes Remembered: A Celebration of Survival.

Recipes Remembered gives voice to the remarkable stories and cherished recipes of the Holocaust community. The first professionally written cookbook of its kind is a moving compilation of food memories, stories about food and families, and recipes from Holocaust survivors from Poland, Austria, Germany,  Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, and Greece. June Feiss Hersh is a New York Times recognized author.
