Lissie Diringer has been a trustee of Shaaray Tefila since 2013 and is Chair of the Development Committee. She was involved with the Committee for Engagement on Rabbinic Transition (CERT) which conducted last summer’s Community Conversations and congregational survey, and has served on the BRIT (Building Relationships -- Involving Teens) Teen Engagement Steering Committee. She and her husband, Lee Dunst, have been members of Shaaray Tefila since 2002. Their two sons – Charles and Josh – have both become B’nai Mitzvah at Shaaray Tefila. Charles was a TA in the Religious School for 3 years and a member of the second Teen Exchange cohort; Josh hopes to participate in the Teen Exchange this year. Lissie has worked in the non-profit sector for more than 20 years, managing fundraising and development efforts for a wide range of organizations. She is currently Vice President for Institutional Advancement for the Hebrew Union College - Jewish Institute of Religion.
