Saturday, February 5 @11:45am-12:45pm
Join us in person and online for a special Shabbat Torah Study with our Scholar in Residence, Rabbi Nikki DeBlosi.
The Six Sexes of the Talmud & The Blessings of Gender Today
Explore the Talmud’s six sex classifications for human beings–beyond the binary of “male” and “female” as an entry to a conversation about our opportunities for seeing variation in gender identity and presentation as a source of blessing in our lives and communities. Facilitated by our scholar-in-residence, Rabbi Nikki DeBlosi, who holds a BA and a PhD in women’s and gender studies.
If you plan to attend in person, please review our Building Entry Policies. Please have proof of vaccination or negative PCR test and complete our Health Screener before entering the TST building. Masks must also be worn when inside.
