Be’chol Lashon Two-Part Diversity Training
Monday, October 19 @7:00pm-8:30pm
In this two-part series facilitated by Lindsey Newman (Director of Community Engagement at Be’chol Lashon – Hebrew for “in every language”), we will set about the task of learning and reflection in preparation for action. Together we will learn how Jewish wisdom and values can help us build a multiracial community rooted in racial justice; better understand the racial paradigm of the United States and how we (as Jews) fit within; reflect on how implicit bias and behaviors create barriers to cultural competence. These workshops are interactive and seek to provide a space for open and honest conversation.
