Committees

There are many ways to get involved with the Shaaray Tefila community. You can attend our programs, volunteer to serve our community, and participate in the decision-making of our congregation.

At Shaaray Tefila, there are multiple programs and activities on nearly a daily basis. Much of the research and planning for these events is accomplished through our committee structure. Committee members, working in concert with professional staff, are responsible for many of the public programs that our members enjoy, as well as the behind-the-scenes work that is required to manage congregational life for nearly 1,500 member households.

If you are interested in volunteering to work on one or more of our committees, or have a skill or talent you'd like to share with the congregation, the list below will give you some idea of how we operate. For more information on any particular committee or aspect of our organizational life, or to inquire about joining a committee, please contact us at [email protected].
