Spring Mitzvah Day

SUNDAY, MAY 17, 2015* -  28 Iyar 5775

*With a weekday option - Friday, May 15!

Join fellow Shaaray Tefila congregants and participate in our Spring Mitzvah Day. We will join together for a day of hands-on community service projects and renew our communal commitment to engage in acts of tikkun olam, repairing the world and caring for those in need. Mitzvah Day is always a wonderful opportunity to work with fellow congregants, set an example for our children and have fun in the process.

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN

Registration deadline is May 5. Projects are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please note...it is especially important to pre-register for off-site projects as many agencies strictly limit the number of volunteers they can accomodate.

Community service credit is available to students.

Volunteers for off-site projects on May 17 will meet at the Temple at a time to be determined by their project captains and travel together to the project site.
